Intrinsic lanes

🆕 repeat(auto-fill, auto)

But, there's one more thing you can do, which isn't possible with grid: intrinsic sizing of lanes. The grid-lanes spec relaxes the auto-repeat syntax to allow intrinstic sizes, such as `auto` inside repeat() syntax. In regular grid, repeat(auto-fill, ...) requires definite track sizes (like 200px) to calculate how many repetitions fit. Grid-lanes (CSS Grid Level 3) relaxes this. Lanes can have content-dependent sizes. This can be very useful: when you don't know the size of your items ahead of time when writing the stylesheet. This creates as many columns as fit, where each column sizes to its content (e.g., images of natural width).
